Top 5 Lustful Watches

I absolutely love watches and wear them on the daily that is until I lost my most favourite watch (sad face) I bought said watch 2 years ago at Christmas time after lusting over it for months and it did not leave my wrist, then 2 weeks ago I took it off and now I cannot find it anywhere for the life of me!
I have been looking online for a new watch and came across so many that I found it incredibly difficult to narrow it down to just five but I managed it... eventually! I still cant choose between them!

Here are my top 5 watches that I'm  currently lusting over:

5: Sekonda Editions £44.99
I love Sekonda watches they are so affordable I think, I'm not really a gold/rose gold person I'm more of a silver gal myself but this watch just stood out for me, I like how simple and elegant  it looks an everyday watch with a little bit of glitz!

I saw this brand pop up on Instagram and instantly loved the look of there watches! This is another good daytime watch that just looks so classic, I love the brown leather strap which would go with any outfits.

A brand I have been in love with since they first caught my attention a few years ago, I love the big dial look and sleekness of this just looks amazing, cant go wrong with a bit of black and gold!

Another new brand I have came across recently and they do not disappoint they have a watch to suit every style and I preferred the Alexa watch, black and gold another classic look I'm not really a fancy watch person either so these more simple watches suit my style best.

The Kendrick from Kartel,  I do seem to keep coming back to this brand and swooning over there Instagram and website plus they are a Scottish brand and it's good to support local company's! This statement piece is gorgeous I think it might be my fave so far, the black on black look looks very chic and minimalist!

Since it's the start of a new month (yay) I thought I would put together a wish list of some of the clothing that I have been eyeing up for a while now and seeing it's my birthday month I might just treat myself and buy a couple of bits! I really how fresh spring is and the palette of pastel colours that I associate with the season is an instant mood lifter.

What do you think about my choice?
Have you got a wish list? I would love to see it.

Trying to keep makeup on ones face can be somewhat annoying especially if you have combination skin like me with quite an oily t-zone area which is definitely my problem area, as this is where my makeup tends to wear off first, ugh! I'm always looking at ways to keep my makeup from vanishing from my face be it with powder or fixing mists, so when L'OREAL released the INALLIBLE Fixing Mist I couldn't wait to try it and it was also an affordable option which for me is brilliant because I don't always want to reach for the higher end products!

After having used the Infallible Fixing Mist for a couple of weeks I wasn't really a fan which was disappointing because I had read a few reviews and everyone seemed to love it.. apart from me. I like the packaging although I do find that the nozzle on mine tends to leak a little! The formula itself looks quite milky and when it is settled there seems to be like a powder residue at the bottom of the bottle which i am not sure what it is.

When I have sprayed this on my face it made my skin feel really tight and uncomfortable and that made me dislike it straight away as I hate feeling my skin like that! While it does set my makeup for quite a while I find it makes me look cakey, chalky and very matte and that's just not for me as I like my face to have a bit of glow. Now if you follow me on Snapchat you might have seen the snap I took after I used it where it left white dots all over my face, seriously not impressed and thank goodness I looked in the mirror before I left the house! I haven't used this since and i don't think i will again as it's just not for me at all.

Have you tried this?
Do you have any tips to maybe make it work for me?

Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm

Ever since NikkiTutorials showed this off in one of her videos it just seemed to explode everywhere and of course yours truly had to have it too! Having combination skin I always have to use a primer before my makeup to prevent it from sliding off my face during the day which is not a great look! So when I spied this in Superdrug I immediately put it in my basket.

Considering this is a product for men it does a pretty good job at keeping my makeup on which I was pleasantly surprised, I have quite sensitive skin so have to be careful as to what I slap on my face but the balm did not irritate my skin in the slightest (win) and is alcohol free. My skin has been a nightmare lately because of the colder weather but I find this really locks in moisture and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy although it sinks into the skin and leaves a semi matte looking finish on my skin which I love.

The Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm is a 100ml glass bottle which I can see lasting a while as you only need a tiny bit, It is a milky quite runny in texture and also boasts vitamin E and other ingredients which are skin calming and are also anti-irritating really soothes the skin and has a slight cooling feeling when applied, safe to say I love this a primer and have also been using it as a serum/moisturiser in my skin care routine.

This has been joyous to use and I can see it been a regular in my makeup/skincare stash.

What is your favourite primer? Have you tied this yet?

Makeupgeek EyeShadows And Swatches

I have more eyeshadow palettes than I probably should have and totally not ashamed of it, when it comes to makeup eyeshadows are my favourite product by far.
When Makeupgeek eyeshadows launched a good while back I desperately wanted some of my own after seeing the likes of Jaclyn hill use them in her tutorials, I was completely sucked in!

Then to my surprise Beauty Bay decided to stock them and oh how excited I was.. I mean literally! So straight away ordered a few and waited ever so patiently for them to arrive.

Top left to bottom: Drama Queen, Corrupt, Mocha, Prom Night.

The shadows themselves are amazing and at £4.95 they are so affordable and the quality is truly incredible, pigmented, creamy, buttery smooth all qualities you would expect from a good eyeshadow.

Top to Bottom: Crème Brulee, Glamorous, Shimma Shimma.

I think I picked a good mix of colours for me personally and can easily be worn from a subtle day look to vamping it up at night, they are so easy to wear and blend like a dream!
I'm really wanting to get more of them and make my own i need any more..seriously!
I highly recommend purchasing some if you are looking for new eyeshadows as they are extremely worth it.

What are your favourite eyeshadows?

I thought I would take a look back at 2015 and see what my most used beauty products where, and looking through them I can see why they have become my favourites! I wasn't really wearing a lot of makeup during 2015 much preferred the fresh faced look, but towards the end of the year I was in full swing of a full face again!

Lets have a look....

As I said I wasn't wearing much during the year so the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream was my ultimate goto! Its really lightweight and just glides over the skin leaving it looking radiant glowy, something i've been loving and also does a good job at covering up my redness in certain areas.

The Loreal Nude Magique Blur Cream is hands down my favourite primer, I find it really evens out my skintone, disminishes my pores and fine lines with a blurring effect making my skin look flawless! One I will be continuing to use throughout this year also.

When I comes to concealers there was only ever one that stood out for me and that was the collection perfecting concealer, but low and behold that ha now been took over by the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, I use this most for covering any dark circles and covers them it does, it also does not crease on me which is another win for me.

Not really a blush kind of girl but I have been trying to get into them more, CLARINS Illuminating Blush is stunning, peachy pink in colour it gives a nice wash of colour and like it says illuminates the cheeks for a subtle finish.
MUA blush in cupcake is adorable gives a really lovely pink colour and the formula is amazing, I have been reaching for this more on a daily basis and will be most probably picking up some more.

Ok so I have only just purchased MakeupGeek shadows after Christmas have been using them everyday since they arrived and I can see why everyone loves them, these just work well and the pigmentation is second to none. I'm not going to say much about them as I am going to a post on them soon, but they are good!

Why I never bought the Real Techniques setting brush sooner I will never know, amazing at setting the undereye or to dust the cheeknones with highlighter, used everyday I really need to pick up a second one cant never have too many brushes.. right!

The Morphe S11 is my everyday eyeshadow brush, lovely and soft it really packs colour onto the eyelid its one of the best brushes I have used although it is a new purchase but it has just won me over.

Keeping the lips somewhat netural I have been loving the MUA lip pencil in caramel nougat, I love pink/brown nude colours and this is perefect for me when I want a bit of something on the lips but not too much very much a handbag staple for me.

Loving these Clairns Natural Lip Perfectors, never been without it it gives your lips a nice glossy look without feeling overly glossy and the smell is incredible reminds me of candyfloss! Again I can see the hype with these and will need to purchase more as mine is running low as i've used it that much.

To make my eyes look like they have lashes the Clairns Be Long Mascara is the one, the plastic brush brush just lifts my lashes giving them a more longer and natural look, I have enjoyed using this mascara and it has been the one i've using the most.

Hello Everyone!

So I have decided to come back to blogging in the new year after sometime of having a break! Sometimes life just gets in the way and other things have to take a back seat for a while, and to be honest I wasn't really enjoying it as much as I did when I first started and couldn't really give it my all!

So after nearly a 2 year break away I will be back with a fresh outlook on things and honestly I cannot wait to get stuck in as I have missed it so much! Keeping this ever so short I just want to take the time and wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Love, Claire xx
